Well, we did it. We bought our first home. Actually, I bought it. The Captain's stuck far away and hasn't even seen a picture of it. What a trusting husband, right?
I finally saw the house in person, and it's just as perfect for us as I'd believed. I can see the elementary school from our front porch, which Dolly Babe is super excited about. The home inspection revealed that the house is in as good condition as it appears to be, with nothing to do but cut away a bit of vegetation touching the exterior.
I just love it, and I'm so excited to live there with the Captain and the kids. Ah... to be a real family again.
