Tyler never even watched tv...I was the exact same. Tyler never even watched tv until he was about 3 years old. At that time, he had such little interest, 10 minutes was all he could handle. I was a proud and motivated Mom against TV! Now, I have to be careful because the kids can turn on the tv themselves and I have no idea how long they have been watching (especially in the morning). It is bad but every once in a while, it is really nice to have some peace and quiet in the house! Sometimes I seriously question my parenting abilities. But somehow my kids are turning out pretty decent. :) Now, as far as the TV thing goes, we have no TV or cable, so it's typically easier to control the amount of time they spend in front of the box....however, I can't deny that putting a dvd on is really handy when I need things to quiet down!Lollihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10796336654163337650noreply@blogger.com
